What drew you to join Lytix, and what makes this opportunity unique compared to others in the data and analytics industry? 

When I started my search for a new challenge, I had several intriguing opportunities on my radar. What set Lytix apart for me was the immediate alignment in vision with Jeroen and Soufiane, which resonated strongly with my professional aspirations. Moreover, Lytix Luxembourg had plenty of compelling challenges and opportunities that appealed to my career growth ambitions. Consequently, I made the deliberate choice to continue my professional journey with Lytix.

If you could describe Lytix’s mission in one sentence, what would it be, and how do you envision it impacting businesses and organizations in Luxembourg? 

Lytix’s mission can be summarized as followed: “To guide our clients towards future-proof data platforms and empower them with formidable analytical insights.”

I hope that Lytix Luxembourg can be a gamechanger in how we help companies with their data. Implementing the tools, guide companies to a better data structure, train people so they themselves can get started with their data reporting and eventually support them in their future endeavors.

With technology and analytics constantly evolving, how do you plan to keep yourself updated with the latest trends and maintain your expertise in this rapidly changing field? 

In the ever-evolving landscape of technology and analytics, I want to stay up to date. My approach includes monitoring emerging trends through platforms like LinkedIn, engaging with specialized podcasts, reading interesting articles, and participating in monthly training sessions. I recognize the importance of continuous learning in the dynamic field of technology, ensuring that I remain at the forefront of industry developments.

Can you share one memorable experience during the early stages of setting up Lytix that solidified your belief that this was the right place for you to be? 

Our weekend in Ibiza. I just joined the team that week and I got the chance to join the Ibiza trip. It was very nice to get to know everyone immediately and had a lot of fun together. It was during this trip that I first encountered the harmonious team spirit that characterizes Lytix, making it clear that I had found the ideal professional home.

As the first team member of Lytix, how do you plan to foster a collaborative and supportive culture within the company, and what unique qualities do you bring to the team? 

I think the most important thing is the humane aspect. Technical skills you can train. Anyone can learn to be technically strong. But the human aspect is vital for a good team spirit. As a manager, my commitment lies in prioritizing the well-being of our team members and cultivating a caring environment that places our people first.

What is your ultimate vision for Lytix in the next five years, and how do you see your role evolving to contribute to that vision? 

Over the next five years, my primary objective is to market Lytix Luxembourg as a prominent player, mirroring the success we’ve achieved in Belgium. While this journey may be arduous, it can be accomplished through seamless teamwork. If we work together as one team, we are going to be able to achieve some really great things!

How do you feel about launching Lytix in Luxembourg, and what do you think this city brings to the table that sets it apart from other locations? 

Launching Lytix Luxembourg is an exciting endeavor, but I think it will be a challenge as well. There is a lot of competition on the Microsoft market and Luxembourg is not that big. But we’re not afraid of a good fun challenge at Lytix, so I’m all set!

Being a Microsoft-branded company, how do you plan to leverage the resources and expertise from Microsoft to enhance Lytix’s offerings and competitive edge? (Focus on group) 

Our strategy is centered on close collaboration with Lytix Belgium, where we possess a wealth of Microsoft expertise and knowledge. By merging our strengths, Luxembourg can benefit immensely from this synergy. The key lies in a united approach, where Belgium and Luxembourg operate as a cohesive team, contributing to our collective success.

If you could take the data and analytics capabilities of Lytix to solve any real-world problem or challenge, what would it be, and why is it personally meaningful to you?

Given the opportunity to apply data and analytics to a real-world challenge, my choice would be to improve the healthcare sector. Universal access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right, and a healthier populace contributes to overall societal well-being. While this may seem ambitious, the pursuit of such a goal is a worthy endeavor. I don’t know to what extent it is possible to achieve this, but hey, dream on! 😉
